The challenge was to complete the work within a very limited time frame. Have led a team of 20 specialists located in three different countries (UK, US and India) successfully achieved the contract deliverables. Have performed the following tasks: • Reviewed scope and solution, identified infrastructure to deliver, re-planned the project • Procured the hardware, racked and cabled more than 50 servers plus network switches, NAS, SAN, Citrix Netscaler. • Led the team to install the O.S. monitoring and backup tools, applications migration • Monitored the project and reported status to key stakeholders and senior managers

Responsible for providing technical support for the Europe customers' based using various operating systems such as AIX , HP-UX , LINUX , Solaris and Windows. Key Roles: Provide technical support to various IBM proudcts , such as Informix Dynamic Servers, Informix Dynamic 4gl, Client SDK, JAVA, Informix SQL. DB2 Information Management , Content Manager, CommonStore, InfoSphere Guardium, Informix Database administration and related tooling such OpenAdmin tool. I was part of the advance technical team which involves a deep technical understanding of the products concerned. Problem determination is pursued to an analytical stage and self -sufficiency targets need to be met. Escalation to the developers was less frequently required than for non-core products, but when required it need to be carried out in a timely manner. I also monitored the follow the sun queue, out of hours and taking appropriate steps to progress resolution of the Severity One cases for Canada, UK and Asia Pacific. This involved both a dept technical understanding of DB2, Informix tools and Engines and an understanding of the escalation processes within IBM. Key Achievements: Worked with the complete range of IBMs clients both in the UK and EMEA which range from retail and corporate banks and investment houses through to smaller organisations and start-ups that use the platform for e-commerce, CRM and other applications.
